Salus Cyber has signed up to the Mindful Employer Charter For Employers Positive About Mental Health. This demonstrates our commitment to creating a supportive and open culture where colleagues feel able to talk about mental health confidently and aspire to appropriately support the mental wellbeing of all staff.
Established in 2004, Mindful Employer is a UK wide initiative run by Devon Partnership NHS Trust. Providing employers with easier access to professional Workplace Mental Health training, information and support, the initiative aims to help empower employers to take a lead in supporting the mental wellbeing of their staff.
By continuing to take steps as an employer to positively manage the mental health of our employees, we hope to empower them to build resilience, ease pressure, and reach their full potential.
Our employees have access to an EAP, Mental Health monthly guest speaker sessions on various topics, weekly and daily manager / employee 1:2:1s, HR / employee 1:2:1s, an open-door to all Directors, HR, and Senior Managers. In addition, we continue to update our policies around wellbeing ensuring they underpin our commitment and care to our employees. Soon to come is our Wellbeing Steering Group and MHFA training.
Fostering awareness, encouraging communication, listening, and understanding, helps us to maintain a healthy, happy, informed and engaged workforce.
