Strong relationships don’t stop with the organisations we support day to day. One of the things that truly defines Salus is the way we engage with the wider community, particularly local schools, colleges, and universities. We believe in giving young people real insight into the world of work and helping them discover pathways that feel achievable and exciting. This week was a brilliant example of that in action.
Two of our apprentices, Joe and William, returned to Joe’s former secondary school. Cleeve School to represent Salus at its careers event. They now have the chance to showcase their journeys, share what apprenticeships are really like, and talk about the skills and opportunities they’ve gained along the way.
For the pupils, hearing directly from alumni who’ve taken their first steps into the industry makes the idea of a future career feel much more real. For Joe and William, it was a moment of pride and a chance to reflect on how far they’ve come. Their experiences at Salus have helped shape their confidence and ambitions.
By working closely with local educational communities, we aim to:
These events aren’t just about recruitment, they’re about connection, encouragement, and opening doors for young people who are exploring the first steps in their career journey.
We’ll continue building strong relationships with schools, colleges, and universities across the region. From careers fairs to workshops and hands on learning opportunities, we’re committed to showing young people what’s possible within the cyber world and to celebrating success stories like Joe and William’s along the way.
At our core, we believe in the power of personalised guidance. Whether you have questions or feedback, we're here to listen and support you every step of the way. Reach out via the form and we will be in touch as soon as possible.
