Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to design, build, and maintain secure cloud environments (Azure and Office 365).
Implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization using these tools.
Design, implement, and maintain solutions for identity and access management, threat protection, data security, and compliance.
Ensure seamless integration of these technologies with existing systems and applications.
Provide guidance on security strategies, architecture, and implementation plans.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex security issues.
Work closely with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevOps).
Monitor and analyze security events using tools such as Microsoft Defender and Azure Sentinel.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure integration of these technologies into existing systems and applications.
Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices for security in the organization.
Stay updated on new features, trends, and industry developments related to cloud security solutions.
Designing and updating security strategy.
Managing and monitoring intrusion detection systems (IDS) and intrusion prevention systems (IPS) using Microsoft Defender and Azure Sentinel.
Developing incident response plans and procedures.
Creating and updating disaster recovery plans.

This role is key to supporting the Company with consistently high standards in the delivery of the range of penetration testing that we offer clients, including scoping, testing, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Strengthening the continuous development of Consultants in the Pen Test team and providing expert working knowledge in common penetration testing types.
Leading by example on knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching.
Lead by example on Salus values and competencies.
To assist with organisation transformation through improved practices and processes.
Manage engagement timelines to ensure that testing is delivered on time.
Lead and deliver CHECK penetration testing engagements.
Lead and deliver non-CHECK penetration testing engagements.
Complete scoping work as part of pre-sales.
Service delivery through reporting and quality assurance.
Ability to work independently on-site for clients, within the Salus Cyber office and at home (if desired).
Maintaining your technical knowledge - understanding relevant national and international policies and standards as well as wider cyber trends in the industry.
Create technical articles and blog posts for marketing.
Create training material and methodologies for consumption by the wider team.
Providing penetration testing of all kinds - INF, APP, Mobile, Cloud, AD etc.
