Salus Cyber Proud to Become Crest Accredited

Salus Cyber are CREST Accredited

Following a very successful few months at Salus Cyber which included onboarding several new consultants to join our CHECK Testing team, we are pleased to announce our official status as a CREST accredited company.

Following CREST’s robust process, we were able to demonstrate the quality of our services delivered to clients and the high-level competency of our technical consultants which are the two primary factors evaluated during CREST’s quality assurance process. The four main requirement areas that Salus got assessed on during the accreditation were:

  • Company operating procedures and standards
  • Personnel security and development
  • Approach to testing and response
  • Data security

What is CREST?

CREST (the Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers) is an international not-for-profit, membership body representing the global cyber security industry. With nearly 300 member companies, CREST work with Governments, regulators, academe, training partners and professional bodies around the world to ensure their members offer industry-leading levels of quality and service, allowing clients to buy with confidence.

Alongside CREST membership sits their certification body. CREST examinations are recognised by the professional services industry and buyers as being the best indication of knowledge, skill, and competence. They are a high-level aspiration for those taking them and increasingly a mandated requirement for those hiring or buying services.

Salus Cyber’s CREST Accreditiation

Being able to achieve this status requires a company to use the correct policies, processes, and procedures in order to protect client information. With annual assessments to ensure standards are being met, there is no room for complacency. Over the last year, Salus has been constantly developing its core business to ensure we don’t just reach these standards, but surpass them on all counts.

Using Salus as a CREST registered testing provider will provide clients with highly skilled consultants who have extensive knowledge of the environments they are coming into contact with.
