Principal Consultant
As a Principal Cyber Security Consultant, you will
Provide expert cyber security technical advice, guidance, and support
Lead and direct on major, complex, and business-critical projects, bringing genuine strategic insight to the delivery of first-class solution focused outcomes.
Lead on check and non-check senior pen testing engagements.
Ensure performance standards meet or exceed expectations in terms of Salus contractual commitments and the maintenance of professional service standards (CHECK).
Produce high quality technical reports on client projects and take an active role in thought leadership and promoting Salus services and capability in the market through event and conference attendance.
Support Sales and ongoing business development by managing, developing, and expanding relationships with clients.
Lead on creating training material, methodologies, tooling, and operational guidance for the wider team.
Guide new and developing members of the team with varying levels of skill and experience, both technical and non-technical, contributing to an effective and collaborative team environment.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex testing scenarios.
Conduct peer reviews of testing reports, assist in the scheduling of workloads, maintenance of security standards and testing methodologies.
Maintain your technical knowledge - understanding relevant national and international policies and standards as well as wider cyber trends in the industry.
Effectively manage both internal and external stakeholders to ensure synergy.
Undertake any other duties deemed appropriate by senior management.

Subject Matter Expert.
Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing security strategies aligned to organisational requirements and industry best practice.
Exposure to a range of technical and organisational security domains.
Professional Certifications in Cyber Security such as CREST, CCSA, CRTO.
Broad understanding of various penetration specialities from infrastructure (inc Active Directory) to applications, cloud testing and ICS/SCADA platforms.
Solid appreciation of current OpSec methodologies and exploit development.
